Well, Ben is returning to our homestead in Round Lake for the summer. He came over the other night to bring some of his stuff home. I think this is a good move. He was in panic mode as he tried to work through his options. Once he figured out why he was so panicky, clarity came and he made a decision. He’s such a drama queen (king, prince…whatever).
I know he doesn’t like coming back but he can’t afford to stay in the city over the summer. I wish he could have stayed in Chicago too. Not because I don’t want him around but because he had his mind and heart set on it. I was really hoping and praying for him but the Lord thought otherwise.
He’ll be working in a bike shop in Gurnee and I think doing some tutoring at CLC. We did learn last night Ben and 2 other guys signed a lease for an apartment in Chicago which they will occupy toward the beginning of the fall term.
Our daughter is still trying to figure out what shape her summer will take. Mexico or bust? She’s not sure. There’s some legal stuff pending and once that is known, she and her husband will know what to do (I think).
It’s looking to be a busy time this summer with a lot of comings and goings.

Hey congratulations on yours too! I was happy to see you made it. I agree we stop the jaw-boning and get something arranged. However, you will need to speak w/ or contact my Secretary of State to arrange said double-date or just you and Madame Secretary and me. It’s fine either way for me.
